Annual SHOW 2008 SURVEY RESULTS

We had another wonderful set of recitals this year.  Thanks to all who participated!

Thanks to everyone who responded to our survey after the annual show.  Over 40% of you gave us feedback.  We were flattered by the many tributes and grateful for the expressions of thanks.  We also appreciated the constructive feedback for improvement, and will be working to incorporate your suggestions for next year's shows.

In the meantime, here is the summary of what you told us:

1.  96% of you thought the show was organized and professional.

Dancercise Comment: We recognize that there are inevitably glitches in the running of a show that features over 100 kids, but we feel like we've got this organization down pretty well.  There's not much we haven't seen or experienced in the past - fire alarms, overheating, missing janitors etc.  We've learned to roll with the punches.  Thanks for noticing the work that goes on behind the scenes for months beforehand to bring you this priceless hour of entertainment.

2.  93% of you thought the show reasonably priced considering the facilities and staffing. 

Dancercise Comment: The ticket price covers the costs of renting the space, paying for the staff that watch your children backstage, set up, tear-down and clean-up and the various other elements that make this a fun show.  We strive to keep costs as low as we can, and we think this compares very favorably with virtually any other dance recital you will find.

3.  96% of you thought the show was the right length.

Dancercise Comment: We recognize that the Minnesota shows were a little longer than our target of one hour this year, due to the inclusion of dancers from our Minnetonka studio.  We will be revisiting show sizes and timings next year based on your feedback.

4.  Most importantly, 97% of you told us that you and your family had a great time.  We promise a great hour of entertainment, and your kids delivered!

Dancercise Comment: What more can we say?  If you had a great time, that's really all that counts.  We hope your kids will continue to enjoy Dancercise, and will come back to the show next year.  It wouldn't be the same with out you - really!

5.  And for us, it's especially gratifying to know that a full 97% of you would recommend this show to other parents!  We hope you will when we publish the show details early next year!

Dancercise Comment: Please do recommend the show. Those of you who provided positive comments and indicated that we could use them, thank you, we will!  Talk up the show!  We hope you will encourage others to attend - the more the merrier!
